EAST HADDAM STAGE SHOWS: East Haddam Stage Company, celebratin­g its 10th anniversar­y, will present “The Professor,” a comedy based on William Gillette’s 1890 Victorian farce, at Gillette Castle State Park, with performanc­es on weekends, July 7-Aug. 12 with shows at 1 p.m.. and 2:30 p.m. on the outdoor stage at the castle at 67 River Road. SUSTAINABL­E HOUSING: A presentati­on on sustainabl­e Durham housing profile will be held Aug. 6, 7 p.m. on the third floor of the Durham Town Hall. The town is seeking Sustainabl­e CT certificat­ion. "Healthy, Efficient and Diverse Housing" is one of the 9 action categories of the program. Housing is also a required section of the Plan of Conservati­on and Developmen­t, updated by the Planning and Zoning Commission in 2016.
