Spend some time on the Boardwalk
Diamond Tours Inc. and Horizons Travelers are offering a bus trip to Atlantic City Nov. 25-26. Trip includes two days, one night at the Tropicana Hotel and Casino on the Boardwalk, one meal voucher and a casino bonus, and a Christmas show (if available) at the Tropicana, with a visit to Resorts Casino, also on the Boardwalk, with a casino bonus on the second day.
Bus departs from the Miller Library , 2901 Dixwell Ave. in Hamden, at 8 a.m. with a second pickup at the Exit 40 commuter parking lot off Interstate 95 in Milford at 8:15 a.m. There will be a breakfast stop (on your own) at a diner in Fort Lee, N.J., as well as bingo and movies on the bus.

Tree Swallow Cruise and Wine Tasting
The Connecticut River Coastal Conservation District’s 14th annual Tree Swallow Cruise and Wine Tasting to benefit the Connecticut River Watch Program will be held from 6-9 p.m. Friday aboard the RiverQuest at Eagle Landing State Park in Haddam.
Three-hour sunset cruise, fine wines and food, and the “swallow ballet.”
