Autumn Pressed Botanical Workshop. Press botanicals (autumn leaves and petals) and apply to a heavy cardstock to make cards and other large pieces suitable for framing and gift giving. Supplies include an abundance of pressed botanicals, cards and paper. No experience necessary. Sunday, Sept.

23. Time: 1-4 pm. Cost is $45 + $10 material fee paid to instructor.

Fall Acrylic Studio. Work from reference photos of landscapes or still life as the instructor paints alongside and guides each participan­t with individual attention. Work at your own pace and to develop better techniques of drawing, compositio­n and color theory. Take your pieces to a finished stage, working with final values to make them cohesive and dynamic. Material list supplied. Class dates Sept. 28, Oct. 5, 12, 19, 26. Makeup: Nov. 2. Time: 12:30-2:30 p.m.. Cost: $160 per person.

Finding Your Zen through Collage. Using cut papers create different layers into a pleasing compositio­n. Develop a focal point altering it with glazing or gesso and finishing your compositio­n with ink, charcoal sticks and or pencil. Each week learn to handle a different collage material: textiles, found objects, nature and photograph­s. All levels of collage artists welcome. Material list available. Classes are Wednesdays, Sept. 26, Oct. 3, 10, 17, 24. Makeup: Oct. 31. Time: 12:30-3 p.m. Cost: $200 + $10 material fee.

Beginning Drawing. Observe and learn to draw forms and shapes. Develop perspectiv­e, work with line, contour drawing, shading and tonal values. Charcoal, pencils and pastels are used. Dates: Saturdays, Sept. 29, Oct. 6, 13, 20, 27, makeup Nov. 3. Time: 12:30-2:30 p.m. Cost: $150. Material list available or purchase supplies from instructor.

Hands on Intro to Digital Photograph­y. Explore exposure, shutter, aperture, depth of field, shutter and aperture priority, lens choice and photograph­ing more than one subject. Then shoot outside on location at a local park or large area. Requiremen­ts include memory card and modern digital camera such as a DSLR, Mirrorless system, Point and Shoot. Cell phone cameras may be used though manual controls are limited. Photos reviewed on camera by instructor. Date: Sunday, Sept.

30. Time: 12:30-4:30 p.m. Cost: $70.

Embroidere­d Rusty Textile Collage. Combine embroidery, weathered bits of metal and rusted fabric to create a one-of-a-kind textile collage. Learn 4 basic embroidery stitches (running, back, seed and the French knot) used as decorative elements. Attach metal washers, nails, stained cheeseclot­h, fabric strips, yarn and buttons to pre-rusted fabric. All supplies are included. No experience necessary. Date: Sunday, Oct.7. Time: 1-4 p.m. Cost: $45 + $10 material fee.

Watercolor Adventure with Robert Noreika. Learn to see the big picture and transfer it onto paper by assessing different values and colors taking the essence of the subject and transformi­ng it into a pleasing painting. Using simple palette combinatio­ns along the journey, work from still life setups and photograph­s. All levels welcome, though experience with another painting medium or drawing is helpful. Material list available. Date: Sunday, Oct. 14. 12-5 p.m. Cost: $130 per person.
