Carpino supports bills without regard to party lines

I’m writing to voice my support for state Rep. Christie Carpino. In addition to her proven track record and dedication for the past five terms, she is also extremely approachable and valuable in our community.

As a member of the Cromwell Board of Education, I am fortunate to be able to see her strong support of education firsthand. Her support is evident by way of sharing information at Board of Education meetings, participating in Parent Teacher Organization meetings and events, school ceremonies, as well as giving groups of students tours of the Capitol.

Christie is also in attendance at various functions, oftentimes with her supportive family in tow. She is a huge supporter of local businesses in both Cromwell and Portland, by attending new business openings or by showing support on social media.

However, her record of supporting bills without regard to party lines is what impresses me the most. She exudes a confidence in making decisions based on her own moral compass, and is open to sharing her thought process, providing information and discussing her views.

In addition to supporting education, she is always sharing information to help those most in need. I personally feel great comfort knowing she is representing our community and hope you’ll join me in supporting Christie on Nov. 6.
