Berlin Fair runs Friday through Sunday
BERLIN — The Berlin Fair returns Friday-Sunday to the East Berlin fairgrounds for a family friendly weekend of carnival fun, live music and entertainment, livestock events, motorsports and more.
The 70th annual Berlin Lions Club event will feature midway rides for all ages, concerts, 3 Ring Super Circus, Painted Pony Rodeo, livestock exhibits and competitions, truck and tractor pulls, World of Wheels kart races, Nerdy Noah Show, Tractor Barn exhibit, Saturday night fireworks, community exhibits, demonstrations, contests, carnival games, vendors and favorite fair food.
Highlights include:
⏩ Friday: Children's Rodeo (2 p.m.), Aquanett concert (6 p.m.) ⏩ Saturday: Pony Draw (3 p.m.), Stock Truck Pulls (5 p.m.), The Machine performs Pink Floyd (8 p.m.), Fireworks Extravaganza (9:30 p.m.)
⏩ Sunday: CT State Tractor Pullers (10 a.m.), Oxen & Cattle Draw (10 a.m.), Berlin's Got Talent finals (11 a.m.), Neon Circus: Brooks & Dunn Tribute (4 p.m.)
Fair admission is $12, $8 for seniors 62 and older, and free for children 11 and younger and active duty military with ID.
Unlimited ride wristbands, for riders 36 inches and taller, are available for $35 ($20 in advance) on Friday and $30 on Sunday. Ride tickets are $1.50 each, $25 for 20 tickets, or $50 for 50 tickets plus 1 free ride. Rides take 2 or more tickets each.
Fair hours are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Berlin Fairgrounds, at 430 Beckley Road.
