Branford: Funny 4 Funds Comedy Night Fundraiser to benefit Francis Walsh Intermedia­te School dance

Kayakers and canoeists from Branford and surroundin­g communitie­s will paddle the Branford Land Trust’s river parade from behind the Branford High School to Branford Point on Saturday. Boaters should drop boats off behind Branford High between 9:30-10:15 a.m., drive to the parking lot at Parker Park at Branford Point to leave their cars/trucks and take the shuttle bus back to the high school for the 11 a.m. parade, say organizers. Paddlers are encouraged to decorate their boats (or themselves).
