The Hamden Regional Chamber of Commerce and Aventura World are offering a trip to Egypt April 26-May 5, 2019.

Highlights include: the pyramids; Luxor; Aswan; Valley of the Kings; Cairo; and a cruise on the Nile.

Mohegan Sun

Holy Rosary Church, 10 Father Salemi Drive in Ansonia, is offering a trip to Mohegan Sun casino Oct. 15.

Cost is $30 per person and includes a $30 give-back for gambling and dining.

Bus will leave the church at 8:15 a,n, and leaves the casino at 4 p.m.

Grand Bazaar in NYC

The Clinton Chamber of Commerce is offering a bus trip the Grand Bazaar in New York City for its Handmade Special Event Oct. 14, and includes a stop at Zabar’s Deli. (Bring a cooler if you plan to buy perishable goods.)

Bus departs from the commuter parking area in Clinton at Exit 63 off Interstate 95 at 7:45 a.m. and leaves New York at 5 p.m.

The National Council of Negro Women New Haven Section is offering a trip to New York and Atlantic City Oct. 27-28.

Trip includes visits to the Ground Zero Memorial, mid-town Manhattan, Harlem, Schomburg Center, a night stay in Atlantic City, casinos, outlet mall andmore.

Cost is $250 and includes transporta­tion and hotel; $75 is due ASAP with balance due by Oct. 6. Departs at 7 a.m. from the Stetson Library parking lot on Dixwell Avenue, and returns at 7 p.m.
