Hudak, Roc lead O’Brien Tech to CTC victory
Bobby Hudak caught three passes for 37 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 76 yards to lead the O’Brien Tech football team to a 50-14 CTC win over MCW United on Saturday.
Jommar Roc added a pair of touchdowns on a 14-yard run and 25-yard run for the Condors.
Logan Corrigan led the O’Brien Tech defense with an 80-yard interception return for a touchdown.
Nathan Bush and Max Dodge each scored a touchdown for MCW United.
BOYS SOCCER
Cheshire 1, Hand 1: Quinn Donahue scored at 79:37 to lift the Rams to an SCC tie with the Tigers. Nate Pisani had eight saves for the Rams and Clayton Knibbs had four saves.
Hopkins 2, Canterbury 2: Bruno Moscarini scored his second goal of the game on a penalty kick to lift the Hilltoppers to their prep school tie. Brennan Gollaher had eight saves for the Hilltoppers and Connor Cherry had 15 saves for Canterbury.
GIRLS SOCCER
Lauralton Hall 3, Foran 0: Molly Rotondo had two goals and Sara Bartoli added another to lead the Crusaders to their SCC win in Milford. Julia Rush had four saves for the Crusaders. Abigail Lucas had three saves for the Lions.
Field hockey
Amity 5, North Haven 0: Tess Csejka had three goals to lead the Spartans to their SCC win in Woodbridge. Jenna Walsh and Hannah Hayes each added a goal for the Spartans.
Guilford 3, Enfield 1: Celia Mariconda had two goals and an assist to lead the Indians to their nonleague win. Emily Torre added a goal and an assist for the Indians.
Hamden Hall 6, Marianapolis Prep 0: Brianna Bell had four goals and Karis Curtis added a goal and an assist to lead the Hornets (2-3-1) to their prep school win in Hamden. Marianapolis Prep falls to 0-6.
