ARealtor since 1980, Steve Miller has worked in real estate for his entire professional career. Growing up in New York, his family had been in the real estate business and Miller got his start working in property management and rentals. He gravitated to the residential side in 1982 where his career has flourished.
Miller’s clients all benefit from his vast experience of 38 years in the industry. He passes his knowledge on to his clients and takes the time to educate them about the market and the buying and selling process.
“I analyze the market very carefully and am skilled in positioning properties in the market to sell,” Miller explains. He credits his brokerage and their extensive services and resources to ensure that his listings stand out and gain maximum exposure.

Miller takes great pride in his commitment to the industry and in being an active member of the Realtor community. He encourages his fellow Realtors to do so as well, as involvement leads to increased knowledge of industry and market trends, conditions and changes.
“I am highly committed to the real estate business,” says Miller, who advises people entering the field “don’t just sell houses, be in the real estate business.’” Miller is a past president of the New Haven Middlesex Association of Realtors as well as a past Realtor of the Year. He participates on many boards of directors
including the Connecticut Association of Realtors where he serves as Regional Vice President. Miller also sits on the Board of Directors for the Hamden Chamber of Commerce. He resides in North Haven where he sits on the Inland Wetland Commission as well as serves as Secretary of the Blight Prevention Board of Appeals.
To Miller, the most rewarding part of being a Realtor is helping a first-time buyer.
