Aurelia Michelson isn’t the type of person to work a 9-to-5 job every day. After having obtained the highest sales volume in the country while working for a New York jewelry company, she was motivated to go in real estate and obtain the same results.
“I always liked the sales profession and being able to work with clients of various backgrounds, different taste and needs,” Michelson said.
Today, the 38-year real estate veteran prides herself on being a consistent top producer for Berkshire Hathaway and in the top 5-10 percent nationwide. She holds the Graduate Realtor Institute, Certified Residential Specialist, Accredited Buyer Representative and Seniors Real Estate Specialist designations.
Michelson distinguishes herself by always being available, compassionate with her client’s needs and treating everyone with courtesy and professionalism.
“All my clients have become my clients for life,” Michelson said. “They continue to refer me to their friends and family. Now I am selling to second and third generations of my past clients.”
To Michelson, knowing that she has done a great job to meet her client’s needs is the most rewarding part of being a Realtor.
“When I get wonderful thank you notes and referrals from my clients, I know I’ve done a good job,” she said.
When working with sellers, she assists them in staging the home and makes sure to have professional photos and customized brochures. Michelson strives to keep up with the market conditions, economics and social trends and continually educates herself on new technology. She credits Berkshire Hathaway for giving her all the tools, support and advanced technology necessary to meet the needs of today’s clients.
Michelson was born in Italy and is fluent in Italian. She is an active member of the community and volunteers at her church for various activities and fundraisers. She is also a Eucharistic minister and visits many people in nursing homes on a weekly basis. She also has a passion for gardening and cooking. Most importantly, she loves to spend time with her family. She has been married to her husband, Ron, for 51 years and has three daughters and seven grandchildren.
