Realtor grew up in a real estate family, works with her brother
Afourth generation Realtor, you could say that real estate is in Lauren Seigel-Gross’ blood. After graduating from college in 1997 and stepping in as a temporary secretary at her parents’ real estate company, she decided to get her real estate license.
“I learned the business by becoming my father’s personal assistant and the rest is history,” Seigel-Gross explained.
Having grown up in a real estate household, many of the conversations she overheard as a child were negotiations of real estate sales. A true family business, she is partners in the business with her brother, Marc Seigel.
Seigel-Gross considers herself a consultant rather than a salesperson.
“I don’t convince people to buy or sell homes. I tend to over communicate because I want my clients to know everything, this way they are educated and feel comfortable making decisions for themselves,” she says. “My moral compass and integrity guide me every day and I will not compromise that for a sale.”
She holds trust in a very high regard and believes the most rewarding part of her career is when people contact her to purchase or sell a home because they say she is a person they feel they can trust. Seigel-Gross is also a very positive person, direct and not one to shy away from a challenge, something from which all her clients can benefit.
“I don’t feel that obstacles are problems. They are road blocks that require creative thinking,” she said. “Real estate is a field where no day, client or transaction is the same. There are lots of things to juggle. I love it!”
She explains that the staging preparation, photography and pricing positioning are the most important parts of the selling process. She credits Keller Williams as being the No. 1 training company in the world and empowering their agents to be independent thinkers and more than average.
Her specialty is working with people who know they want to move but are overwhelmed with putting all the pieces together.
“That’s when the magic happens, it’s my passion,” she said. “My goal is to make the process seamless.”
