SYMPHONY CONCERT: The George Flynn Classical Concerts will present a concert featuring the New Haven Symphony Orchestra, Nov. 4, 3 p.m. at the Morgan School, Route 81, Clinton. The concert is free, but tickets are required and may be obtained by sending a selfaddressed stamped envelope to The George Flynn Classical Concerts, P.O. HEALING HARP MUSIC: Healing & Meditative Harp Music at the Portland Library, Oct. 27, 2 p.m. Marcie Swift, therapeutic harpist will discuss the healing power of harp music and we will experience the calm during her performing several pieces.

HAUNTED RIVER: Haunted River, a spooky theatrical production, will be held Oct. 26, 27, 28, at the Connecticut River Museum, Essex. A guided tour and interactive performances helps all get to know some of the characters and legends that make the Connecticut River so full of folklore and mystery. Tickets $13 adults, $9 ages 7-12. Not recommended for under 7. Limited tickets, reserve in advance at www.ctrivermuseum.org or call 860-7678269, ext. 122. Parking restricted that evening to street parking only.
