Realtor has a passion for helping clients achieve their goals
Allyn Craig Armistead, or Craig as known to family, friends and clients, has a passion about helping others and helping them achieve their goals.
“That is why I got into real estate,” Armistead said. “I am driven by helping people achieve their goals, whether on a personal or business level, and real estate allows me to do both.”
Prior to entering real estate, Armistead was the owner of Allstate Insurance Company and ACA Insurance Group, where he honed his skills of providing exceptional service and strong communication skills — key attributes for a successful Realtor.
“Having been in the insurance industry for three decades, this foundation afforded me the ability to educate my clients so they can make an informed decision that will meet their needs,” Armistead says. “The primary focus is communication and being able to effectively work with both clients and fellow Realtors to meet the end goal — a closed transaction.”
Armistead works with both residential and commercial clients and strives to exceed his clients’ expectations. He explains that in order to do that, he makes sure to always anticipate any issues that could potentially arise and execute a solution that moves toward the end goal, the closing.
He lauds his brokerage, Calcagni Real Estate, as having trusted name recognition in the community and real estate industry.

An active member of the community, Armistead supports many civic organizations including the Wallingford Rotary and Red Cross. He is also a Notary Public, which he says allows him to provide an additional service to his clients and the public.
A lifelong resident of Connecticut, Armistead is married to his wife, Tracy, and has two children, three stepchildren and two grandsons. In his spare time he enjoys golf and spending time at the beach. He also has a sense of adventure and enjoys skydiving.
