Guild’s ‘Farm to Table’ show opens Friday

MIDDLETOWN — The Art Guild of Middletown is pleased to present a “Farm to Table” themed show at the Green Room in Middletown, a luncheon spot located at 124 College Street with free parking directly across the street.

The exhibit will be open through business hours during November and December. Past president Robert Spooner will judge the show.

An opening reception will be held Friday, 6 to 8 p.m., with refreshmen­ts. The public is welcome and there is no admission charge.

Other activities and meeting dates are:

Dec. 3, 2:30 to 6:30 p.m., receiving for Portland Library, Seventh Annual Members Show. Two paintings may be entered, $20 for the first and $5 for the second. To enter, visit the exhibition page on the website. Hanging is Dec. 4, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.; volunteers are needed.

Dec. 8, 2 to 4 p.m., opening reception for the Portland Library Seventh Annual Members Show. Jack Montmeat, an artist/teacher who has earned numerous awards and is a graduate of the Columbus College of Art and Design, will judge this show.
