Has a natural talent for selling

-

John Coppola became very interested in the real estate market after he bought first home, rehabbed it and sold it for a 200 percent profit. He got his real estate license in 1984 and started rehabbing and selling houses.

Since then, Coppola has built a successful career, having owned several real estate companies and an appraisal company. He has built and rehabbed scores of homes and is a former member of the Connecticut Home Builders Association. He also studied urban planning and development at Yale University.

Five years ago, Coppola accepted Bill Raveis’s offer to start The Coppola Team within the company. For the past three years, The Coppola Team has placed seventh in the company of more than 4,000 agents for total units sold per year.

Coppola stresses you must always put your clients’ interests first.

“My goal is never to ‘sell’ someone a home, it is to find the right home for them. I point out defects and pitfalls that they may not see,” he said. “I strive to provide a level of service so that they allow me to assist their family and friends with their housing needs, now and in the future. You can only do this if go above and beyond their expectations. To do this you must surround yourself with not just a great team of agents on the Coppola Team, but great attorneys, mortgage/insurance professionals and home inspectors.”

For Coppola, his clients know that his service doesn’t end at the closing. It continues for years.
