Castricone named CHC’s general counsel
MIDDLETOWN — Dena M. Castricone, JD, CIPP/US, CIPM, has joined Community Health Center, Inc., as General Counsel and Chief of Privacy. Previously she was a partner at Murtha Cullina LLP practicing in the areas of health care and privacy. CHC has offices in California, Colorado and Connecticut.
An experienced health care and privacy lawyer, Castricone has significant expertise in health care regulatory compliance and privacy and cybersecurity.
As General Counsel, shea will counsel CHC and its affiliates on compliance with state and federal health care laws as well as other legal matters. As Chief of Privacy, she will advise CHC on HIPAA and other information security compliance.
Castricone is chairwoman of the Office of State Ethics’ Citizen’s Ethics Advisory Board and a member of the Connecticut Bar Association and the International Association of Privacy Professional.
