Family owned stores led to agent understanding real estate
Heike Severine initially got into real estate because she was interested in buying investment property. She had worked in salesoriented positions throughout her career and had a background in property and construction management, so becoming a Realtor was a natural progression.
A Realtor since 1999, Severine grew up learning the basics as her family had always owned commercial and residential real estate properties. That foundation, combined with her construction background and experience in purchasing homes to “flip”, allowed Severine to develop a better understanding of real estate from several perspectives.
“My background lets me offer knowledge in a variety of areas to my clients,” Severine explained.
Her business philosophy revolves around her goal of not to just do one deal with a client, but rather, “to do a great job and develop a lifelong referral from them.” Severine says that completing a transaction and having a satisfied client for life is the most rewarding part of her career.
She credits Coldwell Banker for providing stateoftheart technology for their agents and enabling them to provide a farreaching marketing program for their clients that covers every aspect including email, print, social media, web sites and virtual tours. She stays on top of industry trends through coaching and continuing
education courses.
A resident of Milford, Severine specializes in investment properties. She is a supporter of the Milford Boys and Girls Club and each year volunteers for the organization’s “Pumpkins on the Pier” fundraiser. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, swimming, paddle boarding and biking. She is also a dog lover with four dobermans.
