Agent uses past skills asa home builder to help his clients

- Ryan Wrabel

Ryan Wrabel was always interested in real estate. After growing up and working in the building industry, he decided to become an agent. Wrabel worked for a familyowned residential building/ remodeling company out of Fairfield from high school through college and after.

“As a carpenter, I have been involved in all phases of construction which has given me a different approach to evaluating and analyzing real estate as skilled tradesman,” he stated. For Wrabel, the most rewarding part of real estate is being able to couple his passion for construction with real estate in finding clients their perfect home.

“My building background gives me the ability to offer clients knowledge on the structure and overall condition on each home. I can address questions relating to building and zoning codes as well as give a general idea of the costs associated with potential renovations.”

Working for a small and successful contracting company, Wrabel has always understood the importance of customer service.

“I understand that buying a home is a very exciting process, but it can be stressful as well. I treat each client as though I am searching for my own home and believe it is important to thoroughly explain the process and quickly address any questions and concerns while finding their dream home.”

Wrabel believes presentation is important in successfully marketing a property through the use of professional photography and floor plans that allow potential buyers to visualize the home. He also stresses the importance of accurately pricing a home through a variety of resources including

personally previewing comparable homes as well as broker tours.

Wrabel says that he is constantly subject to changes in the building industry through his work in various markets which translates well into real estate.

“I am able to see the changing trends in layouts and materials used as well as an increased use of sustainable and efficient building practices which directly correlates with the real estate market. I am also knowledgeable in the process of foreclosure and REO sales. Most often, these properties need rehab which I am able to advise clients on.
