PORTLAND — Cheers for Adelbrook, a wine and craft beer tasting fundraiser to support the work being done to help the children and young adults with autism and neurodevel­opmental disorders served by Adelbrook, will be held at Saint Clements Castle, 1931 PortlandCo­balt Road, Portland on Oct. 18, 69 p.m. Tickets are $50 in advance and $55 at the door. There are only 350 tickets available and advance reservatio­ns are encouraged.

Willowbroo­k Spirit Shoppe is partnering with Adelbrook bringing distributo­rs, each with a variety of wine, craft beers or spirits. Sweet Harmony Cafe and Bakery will once again be providing a wide variety of confection­s for attendees to choose from.

There will be live music, hand passed hors d’oeuvres, a stir fry station as well as macaroni and cheese and mashed potato bars with a variety of toppings. Guests can bid on silent auction items, including overnights at area destinatio­ns, or take their chance at the tea cup auction.

Adelbrook is a multiservi­ce agency specializi­ng in behavioral and developmen­tal services, dedicated to meeting the needs of families and individual­s, of all ages, as they relate to intellectu­al/ developmen­tal disabiliti­es and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Adelbrook provides shortterm, longterm and respite residentia­l programmin­g for children and young adults. Inhome and communityb­ased services are customized from, as little as two hours a week, to round the clock staffing. Three Learning Centers and two Transition­al Academies offer an educationa­l continuum for students aged 321.
