Film festival features fly fishing
BRANFORD — Worldwide flyfishing adventures from Alaska’s barren Kuskokwim River drainage to lush South American jungles will be premiered during the 2019 annual International Fly Fishing Film Festival, set for Sept. 3 at the Stony Creek Brewery, 5 Indian Neck Ave., Branford.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with the film screening at 6:30 p.m. The showing is hosted by Take a Vet Fishing/FilmFest4Veterans.
Tickets are $15 for all ages at Stony Creek Brewing Co. on the day of the event. All proceeds from the film festival benefit Rivers of RecoveryNortheast; The Fishing Outreach Program; Veteran Angler Charters; and Take a Vet Fishing.
