SATURDAY HIKE: Beth Lapin leads a 3-hour hike Saturday, 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at Higby Mountain through Middletown's Recreation Division on the the Mattabeset­t Trail through the city's water department lands. This is a moderately difficult hike due to length and steepness. Children under 16 must attend with an adult 18+; the hike is not suitable for young chiuldren.
