Aerin Bowman, Darien: The sophomore collected 16 kills, 2 aces, 3 blocks, and 4 digs during the Blue Wave’s five-set win over previously-unbeaten Ludlowe on Tuesday.

Sadie Budzik, Cromwell: Budzik hit double digits with 16 kills and 12 digs, to go along with 8 aces in a 3-0 shutout of Valley Regional.

Ali Castro, Trumbull: The junior setter amassed 57 assists and 21 digs in wins over Trinity Catholic and St. Joseph this week. She also had 10 aces against Trinity.

Jess Foss, Shelton: The setter had 35 assists during the Gaels’ 3-1 victory over defending SCC champion Cheshire.

Naliah Grannel, Hamden: Grannel had 16 kills, 13 digs, and 5 blocks in five-set win over North Haven on Friday. Gabriella Johnson, RHAM: The senior had 10 kills and 15 digs in the Sachems’ 3-0 win over Newington. Paula Hernandez, Woodstock Academy: In back-to-back victories against East Lyme and Fitch, Hernandez collected 43 kills, 50 digs and 7 aces. Francesca Pokorski, Mercy: The senior had 27 kills combined in wins over Lauralton Hall 3-1 and Career 3-2. She also had 21 digs in the victory over Career. Lily Saleeby, Greenwich: The Cardinals’ junior outside hitter racked up 18 kills, 5 digs, and 4 aces during a 3-0 shutout of Danbury on Friday. Bria Stanley, West Haven: Stanley collected 18 kills and 3 blocks in a 3-2 win over Sacred Heart Academy. Sophia Thagouras, Westhill: Thagouras had 30 assists, 14 kills and 1 block during a two-match stretch in which the Vikings upended FCIAC contenders Darien and Greenwich by 3-0 scores. Juliet Young, Guilford: Young had a combined 24 digs in consecutiv­e shutouts of North Haven and Sheehan.

The Centaurs had won eight straight entering play on Wednesday. Ludlowe at Westhill, Mon., 5:30 p.m.: Another key FCIAC match-up. Ludlowe won its first 12 before losing in five to Darien Tuesday, while Westhill blanked previously-unbeaten Greenwich on Monday. Guilford at Cheshire, Mon., 6:30 p.m.: Guilford is tearing through its schedule and will face defending SCC champion Chesire for the second time this season. Guilford won the first meeting 3-0, but the Rams will host the match this time. RHAM at Bristol Eastern, Wed., 5 p.m.: A battle of undefeated teams. RHAM has won its first 10 matches, dropping just one set, while Bristol Eastern is 12-0 with three sets lost.
