Clerk candidate is helpful communicator
I am running for the office of Cromwell Town Clerk. I am both honored and excited to have the opportunity to run for this important position.
When we moved here 25 years ago, I was immediately drawn to Cromwell’s hometown charm and the warmth of the community. Soon after moving here, I joined what was then known as the Cromwell Junior Women’s Club (now called the Central CT Community Women’s Club). This organization assisted me in not only meeting new friends and learning about the many valuable resources Cromwell has for parents and children, but also in knowing that I was part of an amazing group of women working toward the common goal of community service.
Having raised two daughters here and having worked for Cromwell Public Schools, I am proud to have the chance to work with and support my fellow residents, friends and family. My husband Jack and I are both grateful and proud to call Cromwell home.
I have been a licensed notary public for 18 years and I am a member of the National Notary Association. In addition to having worked in the Cromwell School District as the payroll and benefits specialist, my work experience includes being an office manager, a certified tax preparer, and currently as a human resources professional in manufacturing.
My education, strong work ethic and several years of experience in human resources, office management, customer service, accounting, and organization will help to ensure the continued support of the town clerk’s office and will be beneficial to all that I serve. As a helpful communicator and engaged listener, I look forward to providing guidance, information and assistance to our community.
I will work hard to provide the best service and support to Cromwell residents and will work together as part of the great team in the town clerk’s office. I look forward to seeing everyone at the polls Nov. 5.
