Pilgrim Manor at Covenant Living ranked highly
CROMWELL —Pilgrim Manor at Covenant Living of Cromwell stands out among the best locations for rehab services, according to U.S. News & World, which recently released its 201920 list of rankings for the Best Nursing Homes in the country.
This is the 10th year U.S. News has provided the rankings, citing its comprehensive review of nursing homes and those offering rehabilitation as a way to give consumers an opportunity to make informed choices on where to receive care and services.
“We take great pride in the care and services we provide and our team members are committed to compassionate and quality care,” said Maria Christoforo, health care administrator at Pilgrim Manor, in a statement. “For those seeking rehabilitation, the high performance rating is indicative of helping those individuals getting back to health following a stay in the hospital.”
Only 2,225 nursing homes out of more than 13,000 throughout the country received a high performing ranking for shortterm rehabilitation. That ranking takes into account how often shortterm patients successfully return home and how often longterm residents require hospital care being among the most important and most reliable quality measures available according to the U.S. News methodology. It also takes into account consistency of registered nurse staffing.
“Achieving excellence is something we focus on each and every day here at Covenant Living and being recognized for high performance in shortterm rehabilitation services is truly an honor.” said Dan Stegbauer, Covenant Living executive director. “More than anything it reflects the professionalism of our employees and quality care they provide.”
