Adams, Jones help SCSU to NE-10 win
Taurus Adams and Greg Jones each scored 21 points for the Southern Connecticut State men’s basketball team, which defeated St. Rose 91-72 Saturday afternoon in a Northeast-10 Conference win at New Haven.
Levar Allen added 15 points for the Owls (15-10, 10-6). Adam Anderson had a game-high 30 points for St. Rose (5-22, 2-16).
New Haven 67, Adelphi 61: Elijah led the way with 19 points for New Haven in its NE-10 regular-season finale at West Haven.
Kessly Felizor added 13 points for the Chargers (12-13, 10-9). Ronnie Silva scored a game-high 24 points for Adelphi (18-9, 10-7).
Albertus Magnus 98, Anna Maria 79: Jahmerikah Green-Younger scored 18 points for Albertus Magnus in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference win at Paxton, Massachusetts.
Tyreek Perkins and Davon Warner both scored 15 points for the Falcons (20-4, 9-2), who clinched the No. 2 seed in the GNAC tournament and will play at home Tuesday night against an undetermined opponent. Bobby Perette scored a game-high 25 points for Anna Maria (10-15, 6-5).
WOMEN’S BASKETBALL
Columbia 74, Yale 65:
Sienna Durr led the way with 18 points for Columbia (15-8, 6-4) in an Ivy League win at New Haven. Camilla Emsbo scored a game-high 28 points for the Bulldogs (16-7, 6-4).
SCSU 56, St. Rose 46:
Jessica Fressle scored 19 points for Southern Connecticut (10-16, 4-13) in a NE-10 victory at New Haven.
No. 10 Adelphi 66, New Haven 52: Fallyn Stephens scored 23 points for Adelphi (25-2, 16-2) in this NE-10 win at West Haven. Bionmca Chambers scored 12 points for the Chargers (18-8, 12-7), who was playing their regular-season finale.
Albertus Magnus 69, Anna Maria 50: Rah-Rah Thompson posted a doubledouble (28 points, 16 rebounds) for Albertus Magnus in the GNAC regularseason finale for the Falcons at Paxton, Massachusetts.
Shyla Osmond added 18 points and 10 rebounds for the Falcons (18-7, 8-3), who open play in the GNAC tournament on Tuesday.

Vermont 16, Quinnipiac 7: Rob Hudson scored five goals for Vermont (1-1) in a non-league home win at Burlington, Vermont. Will Abbott scored four goals for the Bobcats (0-4).

Albany 12, Yale 9: Hailey Carroll scored five goals for Albany (1-1) in a nonconference game at New Haven. Bri Carrasquillo scored four goals for the Buldogs (1-1).

Princeton 5, Yale 1: Sarah Fillier and Carly Bullock scored twice apiece for Princeton (22-5-1, 17-4-1) in an ECAC win at Princeton, New Jersey. Rebecca Vanstone scored for the Bulldogs (16-13, 13-9).
No. 10 Quinnipiac 9, Brown 1: Seven different skaters scored for 10thranked Quinnipiac (19-12-3, 11-9-2) in its ECAC home finale at Hamden. Renee Saltness scored twice for the Bobcats.
