TEAM OF THE WEEK

Yale men’s lacrosse: The Bulldogs went on the road and defeated No. 1 Penn State 12-10 as Brody Wilson had 10 saves and four different Bulldogs scored in a span of 4:15 in the fourth quarter. The Bulldogs would replace Penn State as the nation’s top-ranked team in the national polls.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK Jordan Bruner, Yale men’s basketball:

Bruner recorded the first triple-double in program history with 14 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists in overtime win at Cornell. Three of his assists came in the two overtime periods as the Bulldogs rallied for the win.

HOMETOWN FOCUS Kaitlyn Davis, Columbia women’s basketball:

The freshman from Norwalk was named the Ivy League’s Rookie of the Week thanks to her third career double-double and first in league play in win at Yale. Davis had 13 points, 12 rebounds, four assists, four steals and four blocked shots. She has scored in double figures in five of last seven games and is averaging 8.7 points and 5.9 rebounds per game to go with 30 assists, 24 steals and 20 blocked shots.

2: Consecutiv­e Epps Cup titles for Conn College women’s squash team as CSA National Championsh­ips as the Camels defeated Bucknell, Colby and St. Lawrence.

3: Wins in weight throw during indoor season by Sacred Heart’s Cameron Croce, including victory in NEC championsh­ips.

3: Consecutiv­e wins in 4x800 women’s relay by Eastern Connecticu­t at Little East Indoor Track and Field Championsh­ips. Holly Dulak and Maggie Dulak of North Branford, Samantha McKosky of Deep River and Lauren Bresson of Roxbury won by 6 seconds to help Warriors finish second in team competitio­n.

5: Consecutiv­e wins to end regular season for WestConn men’s basketball team to earn No. 1 seed in Little East tournament.

5: Combined wins by CCSU’s Angie Rafter and Megan Brawner at NEC Indoor Track and Field Championsh­ips. Rafter won the 800 and 3000, Brawner was the mile and 5000 champion and they were members of the victorious distance medley relay squad.

6: Doubles in UConn baseball team’s first six games of the season for Reggie Crawford including three in 9-2 win over No. 1 Michigan.

7: Points by UConn men’s hockey captain Benjamin Freeman in 3-2 and 6-1 wins over BU, as he had two goals and five assists.

7: Points in final 4:10 by Andrew Rice as Albertus Magnus men’s basketball team rallied from four-point deficit to advance to GNAC semifinals.

8: School records by Post athletes at ECC indoor track and field championsh­ips including two by Rashya Edwards in women’s 60-meter hurdles and long jump.

8: Blocked shots by Anna Barry in ECSU’s win over Castelon to finish the regular season with 14-2 record in Little East play. Barry also had 16 points and 12 rebounds in Warriors’ 21st win of season.

12: Assists for Kyle Padmore as Trinity men’s basketball team defeated Middlebury in NESCAC quarterfin­als.

25: Assists for University of Saint Joseph in win over Regis in GNAC men’s basketball semifinals leaving the Blue Jays two wins away from securing NCAA tournament bid in program’s second season.

28: Number of 3-pointers in Coast Guard men’s basketball team’s wins over Wheaton and Emerson to end regular season with four wins in a row.

44: Points for Bridgeport junior Hashem Abbas in win over New York Tech.

46: Points for Albertus Magnus senior guard Shyla Osmond in her final game as Falcons fell to Suffolk in GNAC quarterfin­als. Her 570 points are the second on the Falcons’ single-season charts

49.2: The Yale women’s gymnastics team’s score on the beam, the best total on any event among the four teams competing at the Ivy Classic. Lindsay Chia led, posting the top score with a 9.9 while three of her teammates scored 9.85. Jade Buford and Cornell’s Claire Haklik had the best score in the event, tying for the floor exercise title with 9.925. Yale finished second in team competitio­n.

GET OUT AND GO Men’s basketball, GNAC semifinals, Thursday:

USJ and Albertus Magnus could be on collision course for Saturday’s title game as both host semifinal games.

Men’s basketball, Quinnipiac at Fairfield, Friday, 7 p.m.:

Pivotal game as teams fight for seeding in the upcoming MAAC tournament. The Bobcats and Stags were in a fourway tie for sixth place heading into Wednesday’s play.

Men’s lacrosse, Quinnipiac at Fairfield, Saturday, 1 p.m.:

Dylan Beckwith leads Fairfield with 10 goals while Will Abbott and John DeLucia have combined for 17 of Quinnipiac’s 32 goals.

Men’s basketball, Princeton at Yale, Saturday, 7 p.m.:

The visiting Tigers are just a game behind first-place Yale in the Ivy League standings.

Men’s hockey, Yale at Quinnipiac, Saturday, 7 p.m.:

There will be plenty to play for when the rivals square off on the final day of the regular season. The Bobcats are in contention for a top-four seed and Yale could still earn a home playoff series in the ECAC tournament.
