JOE’S LIGHTS: Joe’s Amazing Lights is having a limited-run summer lights show intended to bring joy to the community and raise funds for the Connecticu­t Food Bank. The show is 12 minutes long and uses more than 6,500 lights, roughly 2,000 feet of extension cord, and is synchroniz­ed to favorite summer hits. CRUISE NIGHT: Middletown’s annual Cruise Night on Main Street, June 14, 1 p.m., is an actual ride, showcasing classic and antique vehicles on a 3.8-mile trip through Middletown, starting from NAPA, 1260 Newfield St., Middletown. The route has been designed to pass the police station, fire station and Middlesex Hospital and will ask participan­ts to honk as they drive by to give a big thanks to first responders, front line and health care workers.
