ROSE GARDEN CLEANUP: Walnut Hill Rose Garden in New Britain needs volunteers to help clean up the weeds and overgrowth in the rose garden. A cleanup day is set for 9 a.m.-noon June 20. The garden is near the WWI War memorial at at the top of the hill near the Hospital of Central CT. All ages are welcome.

DASH FOR DIAPERS: Bare Necessitie­s, a nonprofit organizati­on that provides diapers and wipes to families in need, is hosting a Ducky Dip for Diapers, aka Ducky Dash for Diapers, 1 p.m. June 20, on Facebook Live. ONRUST READY TO SAIL:Onrust, a re-creation of the vessel Adriaen Block built in 1614, is now available for public cruises Thursdays through Mondays. The ship can be used for birthday parties, corporate meetings and other private charters through mid-October, leaving from the Connecticu­t River Museum, 67 Main St., Essex. LIBRARY REOPENING: The Godfrey Memorial Library, Middletown, is reopening June 23. Visitors must wear masks while visiting; call ahead of you don’t have one. They are amazing because they are all created from yarn.
