Students graduate, earn accolades

Clemson University

CLEMSON, S.C. — Olivia Reese Mccray of Clinton has been named to the Dean’s List at Clemson University. Mccray, whose major is Pre-Business, made the Dean’s List for the spring 2020 semester. To be named, a student must achieve a grade-point average between 3.50 and 3.99 on a 4.0 scale.

Hofstra University

HEMPSTEAD, N.Y.— A group of 20 Hofstra University students were inducted into the Mu Kappa Chapter of Gamma Theta Upsilon, the international honor society for geography students. They include Sarah Dowd of Old Saybrook and Angela Rienzo of Clinton.

Thomas College

WATERVILLE, Maine — Thomas College announces Ja’Tyra Greene of Middletown was named to its spring 2020 Dean’s List.

Adelphi University

GARDEN CITY, N.Y. — Jordona Caprio of Clinton was among a select group of outstanding students named to the spring 2020 Dean’s List at Adelphi University. It includes full-time students registered for 12 or more credits who have completed at least nine graded credits and achieved a grade-point average of 3.5 or above for the semester.

Emerson College

BOSTON — The following students have been named to Emerson College’s Dean’s List for the spring 2020 semester. The requirement is a grade-point average of 3.7 or higher that semester.

They are: Julia Larosa of Middlefield, Writing, Lit and Publishing, class of 202; Abigail LaVigne of Middletown, Media Arts Production, class of 2020; Phoebe Sullivan of Clinton, Media Arts Production, class of 2022.
