KUTZTOWN, Pa. — A school-record 205 Kutztown University studentathletes were named Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Scholar-Athletes for the 2019-20 academic year, including Katie Seegert of Old Saybrook. To be eligible, a student-athlete must have finished the 2019-20 academic year with a 3.25 cumulative gradepoint average or higher.
Sacred Heart University
FAIRFIELD — Victoria Delphia of Middletown was named to the Dean’s List of Sacred Heart University. Delphia is a senior majoring in Accounting and Philosophy.
Norwich University
NORTHFIELD, Vt. — Kierstin Schafrick of Portland received a Bachelor of Arts Cum Laude in psychology from Norwich University May 2.

Haddam Volunteer Fire Company Auxiliary
HADDAM — Members of the Haddam Volunteer Fire Company Auxiliary announces the recipient of its $750 scholarship this year is Maranda Morrell of Higganum. She graduated from Haddam-Killingworth High School this year and plans to study Biology this fall at the Rochester Institute of Technology in New York.
Morrell is the daughter of Patricia Morrell of Higganum and John Morrell also of Higganum. Her mother is an active member of the HVFC Auxiliary.
Saint Anselm College
MANCHESTER, N.H. — Saint Anselm College has released the Dean’s List of high academic achievers for the second semester of the 2019-2020 school year. To be eligible, a student must have achieved a gradepoint average of 3.3 or better in the semester with at least 12 credits of study which award a letter grade.

WORCESTER, Mass. — The following student from Worcester Polytechnic Institute recently completed an intense, hands-on research project: Julia Duffield of Killingworth, a member of the class of 2021 majoring in mechanical engineering, was a member of a student team that completed a research project titled “Improving Sanitation and Student Health in Schools in Armenia.”
Kahleb Downing of Middletown, a member of the class of 2021 majoring in management engineering, was a member of a student team that recently completed an intense research project titled “Guidelines.”
