To meet eligibilit­y requiremen­ts, a student must be enrolled full-time and earn a grade-point average of 3.5 or above (on a 4.0 scale) for the semester.

Haddam Fire Co. Auxiliary

HADDAM — Members of the Haddam Volunteer Fire Co. Auxiliary announce the recipient of its $750 scholarshi­p this year is Maranda Morrell of Higganum.

She just graduated from Haddam-Killingwor­th High School, and plans to study biology this fall at the Rochester Institute of Technology in New York State. Morrell is the daughter of Patricia Morrell of Higganum and John Morrell of Higganum. Her mother is an active member of the HVFC Auxiliary.
