WORCESTER, Mass. — Assumption University announces that Richard Vaughn of Killingworth is serving as president of the Table Top Gaming for the 2020-21 academic year. This club joins together students interested in friendly competition in a number of popular tabletop games.

During the fall semester, several student groups continued their important work virtually, such as collecting donations to purchase supplies for veterans and raising money for a local charity that was used to buy Christmas gifts for children in need, according to the university. These are two of many examples of how these student-run groups give students outlets to apply classroom knowledge to projects that help better both the campus and Worcester communities, network with professional, and learn important leadership skills.
