University of New Haven
WEST HAVEN — Kaitlyn M. Newman of Middletown, a student enrolled in the University of New Haven Tagliatela College of Engineering, was named to the 2020 fall dean’s list. She is working toward a bachelor of science degree in cybersecurity and networks.
Siena College
LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. — Siena College has named two local students to the president’s list for the fall 2020 semester. The honor requires a 3.9 grade-point average or higher. They are: Corinna Hofler of Westbrook and Ryan Weis of Higganum.
Shenandoah University
WINCHESTER, Va. — Nathan Szymanski of Ivoryton was among Shenandoah University students named to the president’s list for the fall of 2020. Eligibility requires a gradepoint average of at least 3.90.
Portland High School
PORTLAND — Portland High School student Grace Sockwell was accidentally omitted from the principal’s honor roll list for the first marking term. The ninthgrader made the high honor roll.
Gettysburg College
GETTYSBURG, Pa. — Gettysburg College students Bridget Haines of East Haddam and Peter Halsey of Essex had a semester average of 3.6 or above, making them eligible for the dean’s honor list for the spring 2020 semester.
Southern New Hampshire University
MANCHESTER, N.H. — Southern New Hampshire University congratulates the following students on being named to the fall 2020 president’s list: Samantha Chapps of Old Saybrook, Samantha Glance of Deep River, Matthew Pendleton of Clinton and Anthony Gavrilovic of Durham.
Eligibility requires a student accumulate a grade-point average between 3.7 and 4.0, and earn 12 credits for the semester.

To qualify, each must earn a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher in at least 12 graded credit hours during any one term. They are Shayna Moffatt of Moodus, whose major is engineering, and Isabella Young of Killingworth, whose major is psychology.
