Ronald DiRenzo

Ronald DiRenzo, 65, of Middletown, beloved husband of Pamela (Bedore) DiRenzo, died Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Middlesex Hospital. Ron was born in North Attleboro, MA son of the late, Louis J. DiRenzo, Sr., and Dorothy (Hickes) DiRenzo. Ron was a member of Washington Masonic Lodge # 70, Noble and Chief Aide of Sphinx Shriners, Vice President Sphinx Shriners Motor Patrol, and Organizer of Mid Atlantic Association Shriner Motor Corps. Besides his wife, Pamela, Ron is survived by five children, son Ronald DiRenzo and his wife Stephanie, daughter Rhonda Lyford and her husband Shawn, son Francis DiRenzo and Niki Graham, daughter Sharelle DiRenzo-Whidden and her husband Charles, son Nicholas DiRenzo and Maria Collins, two brothers, Louis J. DiRenzo, Jr., and his wife Sophie, Ricky L. DiRenzo, sister Ava Scaplen, nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and all the many others that where like his extended children and thought of Ron as dad. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Ronald may be made to Sphinx Shriners Motor Patrol mailed to Weston Bedore, 97 Robertson Street, Bristol, CT 06010. Friends may call at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver Street, Middletown, CT September 25th from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Funeral services will be held on September 25th at 12 with a luncheon to follow after services at the Sphinx Temple Shrine, 3066 Berlin Turnpike, Newington, CT.
