Fae McNamee, Lyman Hall: Came through with a hat trick to help the Trojans beat Harding/Bassick 8-0.

Shianna Reeves, Lyman Hall: Her hat trick helped Lyman Hall beat Career/Hillhouse 9-0.

Ada Forbes, North Haven: Had all three goals in North Haven’s 3-0 win over West Haven.

Audrey Marin, Amity: Her hat trick helped the Spartans edge Shelton 3-2.

OF NOTE

— Suffield’s 2-0 victory over Granby on Sept. 28 snapped Granby’s 37-game winning streak, dating back to the 2018 Class M state tournament. Granby’s last regular-season loss before last week was Sept. 20, 2017 — to Suffield.

GAMES TO WATCH

Mercy at Amity, Thursday, 3:45 p.m.: Amity won the first matchup 2-1 in Middletown last month. Senior Audrey Marin had a hat trick against Shelton last Friday. Mercy goalkeeper Melina Ford posted her fifth shutout of the season last Friday against Cheshire.

Woodland at Holy Cross, Friday, 3:30 p.m.: Woodland handed Holy Cross its only loss two weeks ago in Beacon Falls. Woodland is in the midst of its toughest week of the season, concluding with the rematch in Waterbury.

Cromwell at Morgan, Monday, 10:30 a.m.: Shoreline Conference unbeatens square off for the second time. The two teams battled to a 1-1 tie on Sept. 17.
