Richard R. Rossetti, age, 75, peacefully passed away in the comfort of his home on October 1, 2021, with his beloved wife of 50 years, Joanne DePino Rossetti, by his side. Richard was born in Derby on September 3, 1946, son of the late Andrew and Theresa Kobziak Rossetti. He was a graduate of Derby High School and attended the University of New Haven. Richard was employed by AT&T (formerly SNET) as a marketing manager for over thirty years. He recently retired from Mohegan Sun Casino as a limousine driver. He loved football and was an avid fan of the Indianapol­is Colts. Richard also enjoyed reading, fishing, yardwork, and spending time with his neighbors in Hamden and at Lake Hayward in East Haddam. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. In addition to his wife Joanne, he is survived by his sister, Veronica Tarini (Eugene) of Derby, sister-in-law, Diana Rossetti of Ansonia and brother-in-law, Andrew DePino of Hamden, nephews, Brian Tarini (Patricia) of Derby, Timothy Tarini (Laura) of Shelton, Andrew Rossetti ( Janet) of Oxford, Dana Rossetti (Krista) of Seymour, Matthew Rossetti of Ansonia and many greatniece­s and nephews. He was predecease­d by his brother, Ralph Rossetti. At Richard’s request, funeral services will be private and at the convenienc­e of the family. The SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/ BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME in Ansonia has been privileged with his arrangemen­ts.
