Slimming Down at Bella Estetica: Body Sculpting Services Soar in Popularity
Cathi Carrier has built her life around cultivating beauty from the inside out. As a licensed esthetician and nutritional health coach, Carrier values nothing more than making a positive difference in a person’s life. Through her evolving treatments at Bella Estetica, every client leaves feeling like the best and healthiest version of themselves.
“I care, I really care about people, I would do this for free. Knowing that I’m making a difference in someone’s life in any way makes me happy and that’s fulfilling to me,” Carrier said.
Before the pandemic and before opening her own salon, Carrier primarily offered a wide selection of facials ranging from several different kinds of peels, rejuvenation and brightening treatments. When the pandemic began and many customers, if not all, were reluctant to take their masks off for facial treatments, Carrier knew she had to make a change.
When Bella Estetica opened in June 2020, Carrier shifted toward services like eyelash lifting and tinting, waxing, and currently the most popular treatment, body sculpting. Through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, she became a certified integration nutrition health coach with the intention of enhancing her skincare treatments, but because of pandemic-related changes she redirected it towards body sculpting and helping clients feel more comfortable in their bodies.
“It is fat loss; we’re destroying the fat cells permanently. We rebuild the collagen, it’s great for skin tightening after someone has a baby and they may
have some loose skin or if they’ve lost a lot of weight, it’s great for cellulite treatments as well,” Carrier said of body sculpting.
Bella Estetica now offers several different types of non-invasive body contouring, typically resulting in loss of 1-3 inches per treatment with state-of-the-art equipment. With unbelievable results showcased on the salon’s website, Carrier credits many of these success stories with the pairing of nutrition coaching that comes with each body sculpting package.
“What I notice in the time that they spend with me is that they come in feeling lethargic and not as energetic, and by the time we’re done with the treatments, they’re feeling really good and confident, they’re wearing bathing suits again,” Carrier said of her clients.
Every client receives a health plan to follow while receiving body sculpt services. Carrier offers three different modalities to customize her services to the specific needs of each client, creating room for personalization when it comes to food sensitivities, specific
practices such as vegetarianism and veganism, and general likes and dislikes for certain foods.
“It really does have to go hand-in-hand, it just accelerates the process when you’re really motivated and you’re following a healthy diet plan,” she said. “The people that follow the healthy eating diet, they’re the ones that get really amazing results.”
All team members at Bella Estetica go through an intense screening process and are then trained by Carrier herself, ensuring that clients receive the same quality of work from all staff. Because of the time spent together and a team of warm and bubbly personalities, it’s not uncommon for clients to form strong relationships with Carrier and her staff.
