Kathleen M. Clemente, age 72, entered into eternal rest on January 13, 2022, at Griffin Hospital in Derby. She was the beloved wife of the late Alfred P. Clemente. Kathleen was born in New Haven on April 5, 1949, daughter of the late William and Helen Flynn Marcarelli. She was a resident of Ansonia for most of her life before moving to be with her daughter and family in 2019. Kathleen was employed for over twenty-five years at Sikorsky Aircraft in Stratford, performing various jobs, until her retirement in 2007. A job she was truly proud of and enjoyed. She loved trips to the casino, playing cards and shopping. She was a huge fan of Zuppardi’s Pizza. Kathleen leaves to cherish her memory, a loving daughter, Michele-Lee Bradshaw (Michael) of Oxford, a sister, Loreen Brelsford (Robert Jr.) of Meriden, grandchild­ren, Victoria, William and Amelia Bradshaw all of Oxford, brother-in-law, James Clemente of West Haven, adored nieces and nephews, John Franco Jr. (Nan), Marc Franco (Kelly), Helyn Sheftz (Michael), Robert Brelsford III (Jessica), Laura Cormier (Jeff), Jill Bagoulla (Youssef), James Clemente Jr. (Lori) and Renae Clemente, along with her rescue cat, Sweetie Pie. She was predecease­d by a sister, Ann Franco and a sister-in-law, Carolyn Clemente. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to the nurses at Elara Caring, especially Tabitha and Meghan and a very special thank-you to Dr. Marya Chaisson for her wonderful care. Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family and pay their respects on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, from 9:00 am to 10:30 am in the chapel of SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/ BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. Masks will be required. At 10:45, her funeral will depart to Holy Rosary Church in Ansonia for her Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. Interment will immediatel­y follow in Mount Saint Peter Cemetery in Derby.
