MIDDLEFIELD — The familyfriendly Mountain Music Series at Powder Ridge Mountain Park & Resort is returning for the second year.

The season, which begins June 18 with 80s tribute band Jessies Girl, will run through Sept. 24, and feature acts such as Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band Tribute, Tramps Like Us and more, according to a news release.

The event, also being produced by Derek Signore of The Sound Magazine, will feature more than 10 music acts over the course of eight shows alongside artisanal craft and food vendors, according to the release.

“We’re giving fans something they really can enjoy,” Powder Ridge CEO Sean Hayes, CEO of Powder Ridge Park, said in a prepared statement. “The bands we have chosen for this year series really caters to everyone tastes in music, from 80s pop to classic rock. These performances are going to be talked about for years to come.”

Powder Ridge will honor its roots with the main event, Powder Ridge Festival, a one-day event July 30, which will take audiences back in time to 1970, when Powder Ridge was host to the “Largest Festival That

Never Happened,” featuring Neil Young, The Allman Brothers, Van Morrison and more. This summer, Powder Ridge will welcome Broken Arrow, Moondance and SoulShine to recreate this musical lineup, it said.

Other acts will be Thunderstruck, and Alpaca Gnomes with Creamery Station & Drop Party.

A “Back to The Eighties Show” with Jessie’s Girl on June 18 will feature New York City-based rock and pop vocalists Jenna O’Gara, Chris Hall and Mark Rinzel, who will be backed by Eric Presti on guitar, Drew Mortali on bass and Michael Maenza on drums.

Tickets are $28 in advance, $35 on the day of or $50 for a VIP package.

Tramps Like Us, July 16: The band has performed over 2,000 concerts. The band prides itself on “long and intense concerts,” often playing 3.5- to 4-hour shows at times, the news release said.

July 30 will feature the Powder Ridge Fest with Broken Arrow, which performs the music of Neil Young; SoulShine, a group of seasoned New York musicians who love the Allman Brothers Band; and Moon Dance, the Van Morrison tribute concert.

Powder Ridge Fest tickets are $38 in advance, and $45 on the day of the show.

Aug. 12 will feature Thunderstruck, America’s AC/DC tribute, “five men completely united and driven by their own passion for AC/DC’s music,” the venue said.

Aug. 26 will feature Alpaca Gnomes, a “vibrant, stomp-and-groove,” seven-piece original rock-folk jam band from Bridgeport; with Creamery Station, a Connecticutbased band that blends jam, blues, rock and bluegrass; and Drop Party, an “eclectic septet from coastal Connecticut that aims to bring its sound to the people and spread joy.”

Sept. 10 will feature The British Legends of Rock Show 1960s-1970s, a British themed show playing a rock and roll buffet of the great British legends of rock.
