STAMFORD — WWE cofounders Vince and Linda McMahon appear to have put their penthouse in the downtown Park Tower Stamford on the market for $4.1 million — among the highestpriced condominiums available in Connecticut.

The condo covers 3,351 square feet, with three bedrooms and four bathrooms, according to its Zillow listing. It is one of 160 residences in the 35-story building — the tallest in Stamford. Standing at the corner of Broad Street and Washington Boulevard, the high-rise was formerly known as Trump Parc Stamford, after former President Donald Trump, but his name was removed from the property last year .

According to city records, the McMahons spent $4.1 million in October 2009 for the D1 penthouse condo. The city of Stamford last appraised the condo unit at just under $2 million.

Listing agent James Wood, a licensed Realtor with JFW Realty/Keller Williams, could not be reached Friday for details about the listing. It is the only property the Westport-based broker lists at $1 million or more on his website.

A message left for a WWE spokesperson seeking comment from the McMahons on the listing was not immediately returned.

Upon hitting the market this week, the penthouse became the third-priciest condominium or townhouse available in Connecticut, after two Milbank Avenue units in Greenwich listed for $5 million and $4.5 million.

Two more condos are priced at $4.5 million in the Bankside House building under construction in Westport, across the Saugatuck River from the downtown.

So far in 2022, eight units have changed hands at Park Tower, according to local property records. The last transaction occurred in March when a 21st floor condo sold for $650,000. The seller had purchased the condo for $813,500 in 2010.

The biggest sale this year was a condo on the 33rd floor that sold for $960,000, nearly a third below the $1.4 million the first owner paid in 2014.

Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, Stamford’s top residential sale has been the Wallack’s Point compound, which includes a main house, guest house and several smaller cottages on 6 acres opening onto a beach on Long Island Sound. The property sold for $8.4 million last month.

Aside from the Park Tower

penthouse, the McMahons have been connected to Stamford for decades with the WWE headquarters based on the city’s East Side. Under the McMahons’ leadership, WWE grew into one of the largest sports-entertainment companies, developing a global fan base through events such as WrestleMania and the weekly shows Raw and SmackDown.

Last week, WWE reported record quarterly revenues of about $333 million, up 27 percent year over year.

Now headquartered at 1241 E. Main St, WWE plans to open a new headquarters later this year downtown at 677 Washington Blvd. The new home is coincidentally a few blocks from Park Tower.

Vince McMahon is the company’s chief executive officer and chairman, while Linda McMahon had served as CEO before running unsuccessfully, as a Republican, for the U.S. Senate in 2010 and 2012. She was appointed by Trump to serve as the administrator of the Small Business Administration, a role she held from 2017 to 2019. Since last year, she has served as board chairwoman of the America First Policy Institute, according to her LinkedIn profile.

On its website, AFPI describes itself as a “non-profit, non-partisan research institute (that) exists to advance policies that put the American people first.” The group’s leadership ranks include, however, a number of other veterans

of the Trump administration, including former Secretary of Energy Rick Perry, former Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe, former economic adviser Larry Kudlow, former acting Homeland Security secretary Chad Wolf, former acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker and former U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer.

The McMahons have been longtime residents of Greenwich, although it was not immediately clear how, if at all, the listing of the Stamford condo might affect other properties they own.
