4-H summer day camps

Youth ages 8-18, as of Jan. 1, 2020, are invited to attend one or more of our 4-H Summer Day Camps. Opportunit­ies for learning about Pennsylvan­ia Dutch foods, where your food comes from, computer science, babysittin­g, fishing, pets, science fun in the kitchen, plant science and pollinator­s, and more are available through our virtual camp options. Each camp will run for four days in one week (Monday-Thursday), either mornings, 9-10:30 a.m. or afternoons, 1-2:30 p.m. These camps are free to enrolled 4-H members, and only $25 for new 4-H members.

Virtual 4-H Day Camps: PA Heritage Foods & Folk-Art: July 6-9, afternoon, register by July 1.

From Farm to Fork: July 13-16, morning.

Computer Science: Think … Plan … Play: July 13-16, afternoon.

Babysittin­g Basics: July 13-16, afternoon.

Take the Bait and Go Outdoors: July 20-23, morning.

Pet Parade: July 20-23, afternoon. Science Fun in Your Kitchen: July 27-30, morning.

Plant Science: Growing with 4-H: July 27-30, afternoon.

What’s All the BUZZ About?: Aug. 3-6, morning.

In addition, 4-H offers self-guided project sessions available for youth ages 8-18.

4-H Summer Sewing, for beginner and intermedia­te sewers, July 6-10.

Cultured Curiosity: July 13-17. Simple Machines — Engineerin­g Design: July 20-24.

Cloverbud STEM: (for ages 5 and older to work with an adult or teen, July 27-31.
