Allegheny County leads increase

On Thursday, Pennsylvania had its largest daily increase in coronavirus cases in more than three weeks. The state reported 832 new cases of the virus, nearly 30% of them in Allegheny

County. That put the statewide total at nearly 89,000. Lehigh and Northampton counties have a combined case total to date of just more than 7,700.

What’s next? The county ordered all bars, restaurants and casinos shut down, save for takeout and delivery, for one week.
