A catalyst for two of the Vikettes’ four straight PIAA title teams from 2001-2004, Adamshick, a 2002 grad, scored 1,848 career points and snared more than 1,000 rebounds.

But her value couldn’t be measured in mere numbers.

“Jackie was the most wellrounde­d overall player that we ever had,” Kopp said. “She could post up, hit 3s, handle the ball — no one could do more to help a team than Jackie. She could play all of the positions.”

Adamshick, who was inducted into the Lehigh Valley Basketball Hall of Fame in 2012 and selected to the District 11 Hall of Fame in the second year of its existence in 2019, was an Associated Press Big School Player of the Year and a twotime EPC MVP.

She went on to a stellar career at Villanova University, where she scored 1,372 points, and played profession­ally in Denmark, Germany and Iceland.

She even got some time in a movie “The Mighty Macs,” playing the role of a Mississipp­i State player competing against Immaculata College. But her high school years were her favorite.
