Mistrial declared in homicide case
After more than 25 hours of deliberation over three days, a jury could not reach a verdict in the trial of Alexander Acosta-Quezada, charged with the murder of Yosandra Munoz-Corporan of Allentown. Acosta-Quezada is accused of slamming the broken shaft of a golf club into Munoz-Corporan’s thigh during a domestic fight.
What’s next: Acosta-Quezada remains in jail awaiting a new trial. The date hasn’t been set.
