Was Secret Service unnecessarily exposed to COVID-19?

-

Even after contracting COVID-19 and being successfully treated by a crack medical team, Trump continued to make light of the virus. His behavior brought it into his own house and could have distributed it among his staff. Worse, members of the Secret Service team who devote their safety and their life to the protection of the president have fallen victims of this insidious disease.

The medical profession has discovered that, in many cases, COVID-19 does damage to internal organs such as the heart, lungs and kidneys. Problems may crop up in the future because of this damage.

His fans flood to his rallies after having been told that such close proximity is dangerous. But that’s a choice they make. But did the Secret Service sign up to be treated in such a manner?
