Local election results certified

The Lehigh Valley’s two counties certified their election results Monday, meeting the state-set mandated deadline. Voters in both counties backed President-elect Joe Biden at the top of the ticket. In the other federal race, Susan Wild won a second term in Pennsylvania’s 7th Congressional District.

What’s next? Pennsylvania certified Biden’s election, although President Trump’s campaign continues long-shot legal efforts to invalidate it.
