Thanksgiving football canceled

Traditional high school football games fell by the wayside on Thanksgiving week due to the coronavirus pandemic. The Liberty-Freedom game on Wednesday and Thursday’s Northampton-Catasauqua game were canceled.

What’s next? Most high schools will now try to play winter sports, with competitions allowed to begin Dec. 11.
