Del. Water Gap entrance fee shelved

A National Park Service proposal to charge an entrance fee at the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area has been shelved, thanks to public feedback. The park service considered charging $15 per person or $25 per car for a sevenday pass.

What’s next? Officials say the park will continue with the current expanded amenity fee structure, and may add additional sites to the amenity fee list.
