2005: Emmaus grad and former Penn State All-American tackle Keith Dorney is inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame.

2005: Daren Winch scores 15 points and Catasauqua wins its first game in the school’s new 1,400-seat gymnasium, beating Saucon Valley 61-53. 2000: Wilson wins eight straight bouts in a 37-19 wrestling win over Nazareth, the Warriors’ first over the Blue Eagles in 30 years.

1975: Two high school wrestling coaches reach milestones as Saucon Valley’s Charlie Bartolet earns his 150th victory in the Panthers’ 31-11 win over Freedom, and Bethlehem Catholic’s Tony Iasiello wins his 1 00th in the Warhawks’ 53-7 rout of Archbishop Carroll.
