Allentown mayor seeking reelection

Alentown Mayor Ray O’Connell announced Friday that he will seek reelection in 2021. The 71-year-old former Allentown teacher and school district administrator was first elected to City Council in 2009.

What’s next? O’Connell faces a crowded Democratic primary field that is expected to include several current council members.
